Hello and a very warm welcome to South Wootton Junior School, and our website. Through our website we aim to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing up to date information for parents, pupils and the wider community.
Our school, which was built in 1979, is situated approximately two miles from the centre of King’s Lynn, in extensive, landscaped grounds. We have a total of 240 children; 60 children in each of Years 3, 4, 5 and 6.
We have a proud record of high achievement, both inside and outside the classroom, over a sustained period of time. Sport and Music play a very important part in the life of our school and there are many opportunities for our children to take part in a wide variety of after-school and lunchtime clubs.
We also have an active and successful Friends of the School Association, which organises a variety of social and fund raising events during the year. We never refuse an offer of help so if you would like to get involved, please let us know.
I hope you find the information on these pages useful. If I can help you further in any way, please email me at the address below; I’d be delighted to hear from you.
