We were very pleased with the level of children reaching the expected standard in writing and maths.
Overall – 62% of our pupils reached the expected standard in all three of Reading, Writing and Maths (national average = 65%). 67% last year. 7% of our pupils reached the higher standard (national average =10%).
Reading – 63% of our pupils reached the expected standard (national average = 73%). 75% last year. 10% of our pupils reached the higher standard (national average =27%).
Average Scaled Score = 102 (national average = 104)
Writing – 87% of our pupils reached the expected standard (national average = 78%). 93% last year. 13% of our pupils reached the higher standard (national average =20%).
Grammar, Spelling and Punctuation – 82% of our pupils reached the expected standard (national average = 78%). 82% last year. 18% of our pupils reached the higher standard (national average =26%). Average Scaled Score = 104 (national average = 106)
Maths – 87% of our pupils reached the expected standard (the national average was 79%). 75% last year. 18% of our pupils reached the higher standard (national average =27%). Average Scaled Score = 104 (national average = 105)

Overall - 67% of our pupils reached the expected standard in all thre of Reading, Writing and Maths (the national average was 64%) 50% last year.
Reading - 75% of our pupils reached the expected standard (the national average was 75%) 67% last year.
Writing - 93% of our pupils reached the expected standard (the national average was 78%) 81% last year.
Grammar, Spelling and Punctuation - 82% of our pupils reached the expected standard (the national average was 78%) 78% last year.
Maths - 75% of our pupils reached the expected standard (the national average was 76%) 66% last year.

ATTAINMENT
Overall – 50% of our pupils reached the expected standard in all three of Reading, Writing and Maths (national average - 61%). 7% of our pupils reached the higher standard (national average =9%).
Reading – 67% of our pupils reached the expected standard (national average=71%). The average scaled score was 103 (national average =104)*. 19% of pupils reached the higher standard. (national = 25%).
Writing – 81% of our pupils reached the expected standard (national average =76%). 12% of pupils were working at greater depth within the expected standard (national = 18%).
Grammar, Spelling and Punctuation (GAPs) – 78% of our pupils reached the expected standard (national average- 77%). The average scaled score is 105 (national average =106). 21% of pupils reached the higher standard (national = 31%).
Maths – 66% of our pupils reached the expected standard (the national average was 75%). The average scaled score is 101 (national average=104). 10% of our pupils reached the higher standard (national = 23%).
PROGRESS
Average progress in Reading was -2.1 (national average progress is 0)
Average progress in Writing was -1.3.
Average progress in Maths was -3.8.
*The expected standard is a scaled score of 100 or more. The higher standard is a scaled score of 110 or greater.
