We believe a smart school uniform encourages a positive attitude to school life. Every child is expected to wear our uniform.

Tailored shorts – black or grey (summer only)
School dress – navy blue and white checked or striped (summer only)
Shirt/blouse – white
School tie (clip on or tied)

Shoes – black (no trainers, open toed sandals, heels or boots – pixie boots are OK)

PE kit – Coloured house t-shirt, black shorts (white shorts are still acceptable during the changeover period), navy tracksuit (for cold weather), black plimsolls (for inside), trainers (for outside).
NB: children participating in football during lunchtimes or an afterschool club will require football boots and shin pads. School kit will be provided if your child is chosen to represent the school in a team game.
This consists of:
- single piece swimming costume (no bikinis or Bermuda shorts)
- swimming hat
In accordance with Health and Safety guidance, children are only allowed to wear a watch and plain stud earrings (with safety backs), which if worn, must be removed for P.E. Therefore, we recommend children wait until the 6 week summer holiday to have their ears pierced. Long hair must be tied back. Hair should not be coloured and no patterns are permitted to be shaved into short hair.

Please make sure all your child’s uniform and PE Kit is clearly labelled.
WHAT YOUR CHILD WILL NEED TO BRING TO SCHOOL
All items that your child needs in the classroom will be provided by the school. A pencil case is not necessary. If you wish your child to have a mobile phone in school, this has to be handed in at the start of the day and collected at the end of the day from the school office.
VALUABLE ITEMS/ LOST PROPERTY
The Governing Body accepts no responsibility for items of value or sums of money brought onto the school premises. All losses should be reported at once to the class teacher. Pupils should not leave money or other such items in cloakrooms or class trays. On rare occasions, parents may be asked for the cost of replacing or repairing school equipment, which has been broken, damaged or lost.
A lost property container, clearly marked, can be found just outside the school hall. Lost items of clothing are placed in the box and the children look there for anything they have mislaid. This box is cleared at the end of each term. Money/watches are handed into the school office from where they can be claimed. Much time is often wasted by searching for missing, un-named property. Please put your child’s name on all their property especially school uniform; woven name tapes are ideal.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
